Engineers India Ltd. has won a turnkey contract from Chennai Petroleum Corp. Ltd. to cover the addition of a delayed coker at its Manali refinery in the Indian town of Tamil Nadu.The refinery currently produces 10.5 million tonne/year.
This contract is part of an enabling project at the refinery to upgrade resid and increase distillate yield by about 7%. Also included is a revamp of an existing hydrocracker.
Chennai Petroleum is a partly owned subsidiary of Indian Oil Corp. Ltd.
