Noble Energy has released a total average net loss in production of 2,000 barrels of oil a day for 3Q of this year due to flooding in northern Colorado and the effect on their DJ basin operations.

About 70% of the loss amount was oil, condensate, and natural gas liquids.

Wells that were shut in proactively before the floods are in the process of being returned to production, Noble said.

Currently 4% of the Noble’s operated wells remain offline in Colorado.

Drilling activities, however,  have returned to normal levels and all of their rigs are currently operating.

Noble has also stated that the combined impact of remaining well shut ins and delayed operation completions is expected to impact the 4Q 2013 volumes by 5,000-7,000 b/d on average.
