ExxonMobil employees and retirees in North Texas raised more than $1.7 million for charitable organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area through ExxonMobil’s annual Employees’ Favorite Charities Campaign.

Employees and retirees contributed to more than 175 charities that provide a wide range of social and educational services to residents in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Rockwall and Tarrant counties.

“ExxonMobil has a long history of supporting community groups and educational organizations in North Texas through financial contributions and thousands of hours volunteered by employees and retirees,” said Rex W. Tillerson, chairman and CEO of ExxonMobil. “Our employees and retirees continue a strong tradition of giving in the communities where we live and work.”

Since 2008, ExxonMobil and its employees and retirees have provided more than $34 million and 65,000 volunteer hours in support of North Texas charitable organizations and universities.

In the past three years, monetary contributions by employees and retirees have increased by 12 percent.
