Plains All American Pipeline has announced plans to build new NGL fractionation and expand existing condensate stabilization in the Eagle Ford region of South Texas.

The new 15,000-b/d fractionator is estimated to cost $120m, and is scheduled to be operational in the second quarter of 2015.

The fractionator will be near existing PAALP assets in Gardendale, La Salle County, Texas.

The new facilities will include condensate stabilization, as well as rail and truck loading and unloading.

PAALP’s existing Gardendale truck and rail resources are being enhanced to facilitate loading, unloading, and transporting Y-grade and purity products. They will also build around 80,000 bbl of pressurized storage to accommodate Y-grade and purity products.
