Texas oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens married Toni Brinker Friday at Pickens’ ranch in the Texas Panhandle.
Brinker is the widow of Dallas businessman Norman Brinker, the AP said. He created a worldwide casual dining empire that included Chili’s restaurants.
For Pickens, 85, it was his fifth marriage.
He divorced his fourth wife, Madeleine, in 2012 after seven years of marriage.
Forbes estimated his net worth last year at $1.2 billion.
The Oklahoma native is best known as a corporate raider. Among his targets in the 1980s were Gulf Oil, Unocal, and Pioneer.
His Pickens Plan aims to reduce U.S. dependence on foreign oil by using natural gas, wind and solar power.
