Australia’s Clough is setting up a new operations center in Glasgow.
The engineering and project services contractor said the move will create 110 jobs.
Clough is being supported with £1.5 million of public finds.
The news ops center will allow Clough to better serve the European, Middle Eastern and African markets, the company said.
The £1.5 million will be in the form of cash. It is being awarded under Scotland’s Regional Selective Assistance scheme.
Kevin Gallagher, Clough chief executive officer and managing director, said the opening of the Glasgow operations center “represents a key step in Clough’s international expansion strategy, and enables our world class engineering, project management, commissioning and operations and maintenance services to support new regions.”
