The Deepsea Atlantic

The Odfjell Drilling semi-submersible Deepsea Atlantic is back to full operations for the Norwegian rig contractor after the successful completion of a periodic survey earlier than expected.

The Deepsea Atlantic was built in 2009, and survey work included replacement of the topdrive and two thrusters.

The work was finished five days ahead of the planned 30-day schedule and within the $55 million budget, the company said.

The semi-submersible is currently deployed with Statoil.
