Malaysia’s SapuraKencana Petroleum secured over $450 million worth of drilling contracts and extensions in southeast Asia and Africa, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
The company’s Singapore drilling subsidiary landed a $108 million Total E&P Congo deal for the one-year provision of a semi-tender assist drilling rig for offshore Congo.
Drilling units in Brunei and Hong Kong extended current contracts of $92 million, $164 million, and $90 million for the use of its drilling rigs offshore Brunei, Angola and Thailand.
