CNPC and Rosneft met on May 15 to discuss “deepening strategic cooperation” in oil and gas, including mutual interest in the Tianjin refinery project.
CNPC said the companies compared notes on issues of mutual concern and made plans for “pushing forward” the Tianjin joint venture refinery project in northern China.
Present at the meeting were CNPC Chairman Zhou Jiping and Rosneft President and Chairman Igor Sechin.
