Emerald Oil said a well that blew out last week during fracking is back under control in North Dakota.

The blowout last Friday at the Ron Burgundy 3-23-14H well resulted in the release of water and oil.

But the Wall Street Journal reported that all fluids were contained at the site of the well.

“It’s been completely put under control at this point,” said Emerald CEO McAndrew Rudisil on Monday.

“It doesn’t affect our program in terms of drilling or fracking for the quarter at all.”
