The Bureau of Land Management reported the successful auction of all 53 federal parcels offered in Wyoming, the Casper Star Tribune said Monday.
The BLM auctioned 52,000 acres off for oil and gas leasing.
The federal agency said it received an average bid of $205 per acre.
The total average bid was $203,334, the BLM said.
The highest total bid was $2.4 million.
Overall the agency collected around $10.8 million from the sale.
The state meanwhile netted more than $12 million in a separate auction, according to the Star Tribune.
The Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments said the sale comprised 59,730 acres on state trust land in Bighorn, Campbell, Carbon, Converse, Crook, Fremont, Goshen, Hot Springs, Johnson, Laramie, Natrona, Niobrara, Platte, Sheridan, Sweetwater, Uinta, Washakie and Weston counties.
