A large explosion has rocked Shell’s production plant in Moerdijk, Netherlands.

Fires continue to burn at the plant.

Witnesses told local media the explosion could be seen from miles away.

 According to a statement by the Central and West-Brabant Safety Region, the fire is “manageable” but not yet contained.

Two workers have received medical attention for burns sustained.

All personnel have been accounted for.

The cause of the incident is still being investigated.
