KrisEnergy announced Monday that drilling operations have concluded at Rojana-1 exploration commitment well in block G11/48 in the Gulf of Thailand.
No significant hydrocarbons were detected in the target reservoirs.
The G11/48 license is a JV between KrisEnergy and Mubadala Petroleum for development of the Nong Yao oil field.
Rojana-1 is the final commitment well for the license.
Nong Yao is expected to commence oil production in the first half of 2015.
The block also contains the Angun and Mantana discoveries.
KrisEnergy holds 22.5 percent working interest in G11/48.
Mubadala operates with a 67.5 percent working interest, and Palang Sophon holds 10 percent.
