A Technip and DeepOcean joint venture has been awarded a pipe repair deal from Statoil.
The new agreement, which starts in December, covered an initial five year period.
There is an option for an additional six year, according to the companies.
The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
Under the terms of the agreement, the JV will be responsible for repairs on up to 9,300 miles of offshore pipeline.
The service provisions primarily cover operations mainly in the North Sea, but it can be extended to other areas of operation by Statoil depending on its future requirements, Technip said.
