A fire at the Pemex refinery in Ciudad Madero, Mexico has halted nearly all work, the company said.
According to Pemex, nine people sustained minor injuries.
About 200 people who live near the refinery were evacuated.
The fire started late Tuesday night in a storage tank.
Tuesday night’s fire is the third accident at the site this year.
Firefighters must wait for the gasoline to burn off, most likely by Wednesday afternoon, before the fire could be extinguished, Reuters said.
The Ciudad Madero refinery is the smallest of Pemex’s six refineries and processed 129,763 barrel a day in 2013.
