Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) reported a 3.7 percent increase in natural gas production, Reuters reports.
In a statement released on Thursday, the state-owned company said it produced 1.13 billion cu. meters (39.9 cu. feet) of natural gas during the second quarter of 2014, a 3.7 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
PGNiG saw record oil sales and larger than expected net gain profit during the first quarter of 2014.
In May, PGNiG said it expects US$11 billion in revenue and an EBITDA of US$ 5.9 billion for the 2014 fiscal year.
