BG Group could be looking for buyers of its largest operations in the North Sea, according to people familiar with the situation.

The move comes as BG attempts to overhaul its portfolio.

According to reports, the company is working with investment bank Rothschild to sell the Armada, Everest, and Lomond platforms.

BG hopes to sell the operations in a single transaction package.

The company is currently operating without a CEO after Chris Finlayson resigned in April amid strategy disagreements.

Interim Executive Chairman Andrew Gould is at the helm until a replacement is found.

Spokesmen for BG and Rothschild declined to comment.
