Norway’s Farstad Shipping won a four year charter worth just over $60 million from Brazil’s s Petrobras for the anchor handling tug supply vessel BOS Topazio.
The contract will begin this month and has an option for up to four years, or eight years total.
The total value of the contract does not include options.
In July, Petrobras added another four years to its charter for Farstad’s anchor handling vessel Far Santana.
Farstad’s fleet currently consists of 62 vessels with 32 anchor handling tug supply vessels, 27 platform supply vessels and 3 subsea vessels. The company currently has 2 subsea vessels under construction.
