Four workers at a Pemex oil refinery in northern Mexico have died from a fire Friday, the state-run company said.
Seven workers also remain hospitalized, Pemex said.
The fire broke out Friday at the facility in Ciudad Madero, near Mexico’s border with Texas.
There was another fire at the same refinery in Tamaulipas on July 24 that injured 23 workers.
In the latest accident, one worker died Friday, two earlier Sunday, and the latest on Sunday night, an AFP report late Sunday said.
Pemex said the workers Friday were doing maintenance on a coker unit when the fire ocurred.
The fire didn’t do major damage to the facility, Pemex said.
