OneSubsea CEO Scott Rowe was tapped Thursday to fill the newly created position of president and COO at Houston-based services company Cameron.

The appointment is effective October 1, 2014.

OneSubsea is jointly owned by Cameron and Houston-based services company Schlumberger.

Rowe will report directly to chairman and CEO Jack Moore. Moore will remain chairman and CEO.

Rowe previously served as president of Cameron’s subsea systems division and as president of the engineered and process valves business for Cameron’s valves and measurement segment.

Mike Garding will take over as CEO of OneSubsea. Garding is currently Schlumberger’s president of completions.

Additionally, president of the valves and measurement group Jim Wright will retire effective January 2015.

He will be succeeded by Doug Meikle, the current vice president of operational excellence on Cameron’s executive leadership team.
