A rig fire at an Oklahoma drilling site claimed a third life last weekend after a worker burned in the explosion succumbed to his injuries.

Mark Pittman died over the weekend after sustaining severe burns when a fire broke out at a Pablo Energy operated drilling site near Coalgate, Oklahoma on December 19.

Gary Keehan, 26, and Kelsey Bellah, 27, were also killed by the accident.

Another unnamed worker was also injured in the blaze.

All five victims were employed by Oklahoma-based Dan D Drilling.

The U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration is currently investigating the incident.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.

Neither Pablo Energy nor Dan D. Drilling have commented on Pittman’s death.
