China’s CNOOC brought its Qinhuangdao 32-6 comprehensive adjustment project online Monday in China’s Bohai Bay.

The Qinhuangdao 32-6 oil field is located in the central north section of Bohai Bay in water depths of about 65 feet.

The main production facilities at the Qinhuangdao 32-6 comprehensive adjustment project includes four platforms and 99 producing wells.

The project is now fully on-stream and is expected to reach its ODP designed peak production of 36,000 barrels per day in 2015.

CNOOC Limited has a 75.5 percent operating interest in the project.

Chevron China Energy Company holds the remaining 24.5 percent working interest.
