Lundin Petroleum announced Monday that it has appointed Africa Oil Corporation executive Nick Walker as its new senior vice president of development and operations.
Walker will join Sweden-based Lundin with immediate effect and will oversee all of the company’s worldwide development projects.
He will also become a member of Lundin’s Investment Committee.
Walker joins the company from Africa Oil Corporation where he has served as chief operating officer since 2012.
He has also held management, operational and commercial positions at Talisman Energy, Bow Valley and BP.
“We welcome Nick to our senior management team. He has been involved in developing and operating major projects around the world and his experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow our production portfolio,” Lundin president and CEO Ashley Heppenstall said.
