The machine you’re looking at is called The Big Wind.
It was originally designed by a team of Hungarian engineers to perform mass decontamination in the event of a chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear attack.
It’s new role is a specific one: putting out oil well fires.
The big wind is made up of the lower part of a T-34 tank with a MiG 21 jet engine attached to its roof.
Once in position near a fire and a pool of water dug into the ground, The Big Wind fires up its engines, the water is sucked up and projected out the back at supersonic speeds.
