A North Dakota oil worker was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly robbing two banks last month.

According to the Forum News Service, Gary Wayne Thomas, 59 of Murrieta, California, was apprehend by police without incident in a parking lot at the Minot International Airport in North Dakota after returning to the state for work. 

Thomas allegedly robbed a BNC National Bank branch in Stanley, North Dakota on the morning of August 13 and then drove to Minot where police say he robbed the Dacotah Bank about five hours after the first incident.

Police officials have not disclosed how much money was stolen from the two banks.

Thomas has been taken to the Ward County Jail and will face federal prosecution, the Forum News Service added.
