Chevron North Sea said Monday that Greta Lydecker has been appointed managing director of Chevron Upstream Europe.
Lydecker will begin her tenure at Aberdeen-based Chevron North Sea on July 11.
Lydecker succeeds Craig May, who was recently appointed to the role of vice president, Upstream Capability, based in Houston.
“Under Craig’s leadership Chevron has delivered leading performance during a period of profound change in the UK North Sea and a challenging environment across the industry,” Lydecker said.
Lydecker has previously served as vice president of Chevron’s San Joaquin Valley Business Unit.
She joined Chevron in 1982 as a Geologist and has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in various locations throughout the United States, Chevron said.
Lydecker received her B.S in Geology from Allegheny College and M.S. in Geophysics from Boston College.
