Several people were injured on Wednesday after a fire occurred at a Saudi Aramco oil facility.
Saudi Aramco confirmed that emergency response teams have brought the fire under control.
The blaze occurred around 3:00 p.m near a tank at a crude oil processing facility located in Alwsea’ area, near Riyadh.
Saudi Aramco confirmed that “several injuries occurred” but the company has not disclosed how many people were injured.
According to media reports seen by Arab News, as many as 17 people are believed to have been injured during the incident.
The company’s operations have not been impacted by the blaze.
Saudi Aramco said it will release additional information as it becomes available.
