A Texas oil worker died earlier this week after suffering a fall at a Texas oil site.

The Harding County Sheriff’s Office told 12 News Now that William Elton Williams, 58, died on Tuesday after falling from an “elevated position.”

The accident occurred on Tuesday morning while Williams was working at on oilfield in Saratoga.

According to Fox 8 Beaumont, Williams fell about 80 feet from an undisclosed location.

According to 12 News, an investigation found that Williams was killed by the fall.

Williams was employed by Texas-based Slatex Well Services.

Further details about the accident have not been disclosed.
